US Service Group Adds Walker Crane & Rigging to Family

March 30, 2022 - US Service Group (USSG), a New York industrial services company, has acquired Walker Crane & Rigging Corp. (Walker) of Plainville, Connecticut.

Established in 1883, Walker is one of the premier crane, rigging, and transportation operations in Connecticut. It provides rigging and logistics solutions to clients throughout the United States.

Walker operates a 130,000-sq.-ft. facility about 30 minutes southwest of Hartford, Connecticut.

With the acquisition of Walker, USSG continues to build its national rigging, machinery moving and warehousing business, which also includes Able Rigging Contractors and Transcope Services. Through those companies, USSG provides rigging and machinery-moving services to a diverse customer base that includes many Fortune 500 and top construction companies.
