Trail King Promotes Hanten to VP of Sales and Marketing

Feb. 10, 2022 - Trail King Industries Inc., a leading North American manufacturer of trailers, has promoted Ty Hanten to vice president of sales and marketing.

In his new role, Hanten will lead development of sales plans that promote sales growth and client satisfaction. He will also oversee the district sales managers, team development, hiring, and revenue growth.

Hanten succeeds current vice president of sales and marketing, Rick Farris, who will retire at the end of May after 37 years of service to Trail King. Hanten will immediately assume leadership responsibilities during the transition.”

Hanten brings more than 30 years of experience in leadership at Trail King to his new role. He has served most recently as director of customer service.

Hanten began his career fresh out of high school as a night welder at Trail King’s Mitchell, South Dakota, factory. He helped with the transitions when Trail King acquired the Ti-Brook and Red River companies, relocating both times to help manage the process. He has continuously led improvement of the customer experience while overseeing operations, quality, customer service, and delivery.

Hanten will be based in Trail King’s West Fargo, North Dakota, location.
