TRAIL-EZE, a seasoned manufacturer of heavy-haul equipment trailers with a legacy spanning over 60 years, has introduced the TRAIL-EZE TE80ST model. This new addition features sliding axles and a movable tail, catering primarily to the rental industry due to its efficiency and ease of use. Available in lengths of 48’, 51’, and 53’, the TE80ST promises practicality and functionality.
Designed with operator convenience and safety in mind, the TE80ST offers various optional features. These include dual tool boxes on the front upper deck, a 20,000-pound hydraulic winch with protective features and work lights, an 8’ heavy-duty hydraulic upper deck ramp, safety steps on each side of the main deck, strobe lights, and dual-purpose clearance lights. At the rear, a 15’ tail capable of lifting 20,000 pounds ensures smooth loading with a minimal 10-degree load angle.
Operation of the TE80ST is straightforward, thanks to its three hydraulic controls. These controls manage the winch, upper deck ramp, and axle sliding/tail elevation. Additionally, wireless remote control options are available for added convenience. When preparing for loading, the tail automatically elevates to a dock height of 51” before lowering to the ground. Once loaded, returning the axles to transport position lifts and secures the tail in place for travel.
