STUDSON announced two new lines of ANSI Z87+ certified safety eyewear, the Guardian and Watchman, designed for demanding industrial applications. The eyewear combines impact resistance, optical clarity and ergonomic design.
“The Guardian and Watchman eyewear do not just meet stringent safety standards, they exceed them while providing the comfort and functionality that encourages consistent use among workers,” said Ryan Barnes, founder and CEO, STUDSON. “They are engineered to provide a comfortable fit when worn with our SHK-1 safety helmets, combining advanced materials, thoughtful design and rigorous testing that reflects STUDSON's broader commitment to innovation in workplace safety.”
The Guardian line offers a wraparound design for full coverage and comes with multiple polycarbonate lens options — clear, yellow-green mirrored, black polarized and amber polarized — all tested to ANSI Z87+, Z80.3, and CE certification.
The Watchman line is intended for high-output environments such as heavy industry and crane operations. Features include anti-scratch and anti-fog coatings, lightweight frames, comfort-grip nosepieces and an unrestricted field of view for situational awareness.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports approximately 20,000 workplace eye injuries each year, many of which could be prevented with proper PPE. Guardian and Watchman eyewear are available at STUDSON.com.
