Aug. 2, 2023 - Sims Crane & Equipment Co. has promoted Mike Smith to manager of tower cranes, crawler cranes, and hoists.
Before his recent promotion, Smith had been tower crane division manager for nearly five years.
His new position expands his responsibility to include crawler cranes and hoists.
Smith’s 25-year career in the crane industry also includes being a safety director and a general manager at TIC and Crane Rental Corporation of Orlando.
He holds a lift director certification from NCCCO.
