NationsRent Names New VP, Controller

June 16, 2004 - Last last month, NationsRent Companies Inc., Fort Lauderdale , Fla. , named Gary Golden as its vice president and controller. Previously, Golden served in a similar position for Kinko's Inc., in Dallas , Texas , where he managed 150 team members, including operations accounting for 1,069 retail stores. Prior to that, he came from Blockbuster Inc., where he managed general accounting for 4,350 domestic video retail sotres and 1,992 international stores in 25 countries.

In his position at NationsRent, Golden will manage all accounting functions and prepare financial statements and SEC filings.

"Gary 's experience and knowledge in both accounting and operations will be a great asset to NationsRent," said Tom Hoyer, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
