Link-Belt Cranes has promoted Michael Dawson to product manager of crawler cranes, effective March 1.
Dawson joined Link-Belt in 2015 as a technical service instructor in the training department before moving into the role of marketing specialist for crawler cranes in 2022.
Prior to his time with the company, he worked with a Link-Belt distributor in South America, gaining industry experience in technical support and service.
Dawson holds a mechanical engineering degree from Universidade Paulista and is fluent in Portuguese.
“Michael brings a wealth of technical knowledge, service expertise and a strong understanding of our distributor network to this position,” Pat Collins, director of product marketing at Link-Belt Cranes said.
“His diverse experience will be instrumental in driving the growth and development of our crawler crane product line.”
Link-Belt Cranes, headquartered in Lexington, specializes in designing and manufacturing cranes for the construction industry.
