MEI Industrial Solutions Promotes Jim Bennett to Chief Strategy Officer

MEI Industrial Solutions has announced that, effective January 1, 2026, Jim Bennett will be promoted to Chief Strategy Officer. The company shared the update on December 19, 2025.

In this role, Bennett will oversee MEI’s long-term strategic direction, innovation, and growth initiatives. He will also guide mergers and acquisitions while aligning strategy across sales and operations. According to the announcement, “As Chief Strategy Officer, Jim will design, communicate and execute MEI’s long-term strategic direction, drive organization-wide innovation and growth and oversee the company's mergers and acquisitions efforts, while ensuring strong alignment across sales and operations.”

Bennett previously served as Vice President of Growth and Enablement at MEI Industrial Solutions. In that position, he led efforts to expand service capabilities and support national execution by connecting local operating expertise with centralized strategy, systems, and coordination. His professional background includes roles in private equity, M&A, and strategy consulting at Dorilton Capital and Deloitte Consulting.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. MEI stated that his experience in growth planning, scalable processes and value-creation initiatives supports the company’s continued expansion.
