May 30, 2023 - Maxim Crane Works now offers crane buyers an additional way to get quality, fleet-maintained cranes without paying commissions or buyers’ fees.
The Maxim Marketplace has added online auctions to its range of services.
“With the rising costs and long wait times to get new equipment, buyers are opting to purchase used equipment,” said David Tobón, director, fleet sales, Maxim Crane Works. “We are the first crane rental company to sell equipment directly through an online private auction. It provides buyers an opportunity to purchase quality cranes directly from the owners.”
The Maxim Marketplace Auction platform lets buyers browse equipment, see high-quality photos of the machines, and chat live with a Maxim representative to learn more about any available unit.
Potential bidders can even arrange to see the equipment in person, and the site’s autobid feature also lets them set their top bidding price -- all in a private setting.
Bidders who register with the site will be notified first about similar equipment that comes up for auction.
The large selection of cranes currently up for bid on the site includes truck, all-terrain, rough-terrain, tower, and crawler cranes, as well as boom trucks.
