LGH Adds Two New Spreader Beams to Rental Fleet
LGH expands its rental fleet with the Greenfield 30-Ton X Beam and Aluex STR9+ Beam for versatile lifting applications.
Lifting Gear Hire (LGH) USA has expanded its rental fleet with two new spreader beams: the Greenfield 30-Ton X Beam and the Aluex STR9+ Beam. Both models are designed to give crews more options for lifting operations that require flexibility, reach, and efficiency.
The Greenfield 30-Ton X Beam is a four-way telescopic spreader beam with a 30-ton capacity and a telescoping range of 17.7 to 29.5 feet. It features multiple lift points and an integrated four-leg Dyneema rope bridle for varied rigging configurations. The beam weighs 1,245 pounds and includes detachable legs for transport and storage. LGH notes that it is suited for offset loads and lifts in space-constrained environments.
The Aluex STR9+ Beam weighs 159 pounds, making it the lightest 9-ton beam in its class, according to LGH. It is the first aluminum spreader beam to feature dual extensions, providing an adjustable length from 8.2 to 17.2 feet. The STR9+ includes an integrated two-leg Dyneema rope bridle with 17-foot legs. Its compact design allows use in low headroom or confined spaces, with applications in construction, marine and infrastructure projects.
LGH stated that the additions reflect its focus on supplying lifting equipment that adapts to complex jobsite conditions while maintaining safety and performance standards.
