Kito Crosby has launched the Harrington MCE air powered trolleys, designed to be used with the company’s TCE-IIB Ex certified spark-resistant air hoists.
Together, they form the TCEM-IIB trolley hoist system, which provides a solution for moving and lifting loads in hazardous environments.
The TCEM-IIB Series Ex certified spark resistant air trolley hoists are engineered for safety and reliability.
Certified to the latest atmosphere explosive (ATEX) standards, they are designed for use in areas where explosive gases and dust may be present. These hoists are certified to Ex II 2G Ex h IIB T4 Gb for gas and Ex II 2D Ex h III B 266 degrees Fahrenheit Db for dust, ensuring safety in demanding industrial settings.
The hoists also comply with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, meeting European safety regulations for explosive atmospheres.
Key features include an unlimited duty cycle for continuous performance, spring-loaded multi-vane motors for smooth operation and bronze-coated components for spark resistance.
Additional safety features include drop stops, rubber bumpers and low noise levels for operator comfort. The trolley’s versatile design fits flat or tapered beam flanges, enhancing its adaptability across various industrial applications.
