Fontaine Specialized
The new Fontaine Specialized Magnitude 75 lowbed trailer is a 3+3+2 modular multi-purpose trailer designed to transport a diverse range of loads. The trailer is offered in three deck options, including flat (MFLD), drop side rail (MDSR), and beam (MBMD) and can accommodate loads of up to 75 tons in 16 feet as a 3+2 or with five close coupled axles or 70 tons in 12 feet when configured with the tandem axle EQ2 spreader.
The adaptable Magnitude 75 has a hydraulic detachable gooseneck and a tridem axle bogie, each providing seven ride height positions to provide flexibility when maneuvering heavy loads across obstacles or beneath bridges. The trailer’s main beam flanges are constructed of 100,000# minimum yield steel. Other features of the model include flat and beam decks with a 24-inch loaded deck height, and a drop side rail deck that reduces the height to 15 inches. At full load, the modular decks offer 6 inches of ground clearance.
XL Specialized Trailers
XL Specialized Trailers has introduced the XL Guardian 110 HDG trailer, a low-profile, hydraulic detachable gooseneck lowboy. The Guardian trailer is 53-feet long and has a capacity rating of 110,000 pounds in 12 feet.
The low-profile gooseneck design on the XL Guardian 110 HDG uses hydraulics to detach for loading and unloading and the main bed offers a 22-feet loaded deck height. Operators can also adjust the height of the deck with a five-position variable ride height in the neck and manual ride height in the rear.
The trailer’s 26-feet long, 8-feet, 6-inch wide main deck is constructed with a fully welded I-beam using 100K flanges and 80K webs, as well as upper-flange reinforcement, and has apitong decking. Other features include swing-out outriggers that add 12 inches of deck width on each side and D-rings throughout the rear of the deck.
The XL Guardian 110 HDG can be specified with a range of axle options, or with an added flip axle, a spreader bar and flip, a single-axle power booster or a hydraulic flip axle.

K-Line
K-Line multi-axle and heavy haul trailers are offered in 30 models. The manufacturer’s gooseneck design enables machines to be loaded further forward, allowing transfer of the payload to front axles. For maximum multi-wheel capacity and the lowest profile, 16-24 wheel groups are used with jeeps, boosters and dollies.
Front, side and rear loading methods are possible with a K-Line lowbed. Mechanical or hydraulically removable goosenecks and folding necks further ease equipment loading. K-Line’s modular pin jointed designs offer flexibility.
