Felling Trailers, Inc. announced that Ivy’s Legacy Foundation has been selected as the beneficiary of its 2025 “Trailer for a Cause” online auction. The event, now in its 13th year, features a custom FT‑3 Utility trailer, with the entire winning bid donated to the chosen nonprofit.
Over the past 13 years, the program has raised more than $51,000 for organizations such as ACT on ALZ-Alzheimer’s, Lymphoma Research Foundation, Minnesota Fire Fighters Foundation, Eagle’s Healing Nest and Backing the Blue. The initiative aims to spotlight impactful nonprofits while supporting their essential work.
The beneficiary for 2025 was selected by Felling Trailers employees through a vote, with Ivy’s Legacy Foundation receiving the majority. Ivy’s Legacy, based in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, provides support to families in crisis through financial aid for medical bills and funerals, grieving and chemo baskets and memorial services — all operated by volunteers.
Brenda Jennissen, president of Felling Trailers, noted the organization’s connection to the team: it supports friends and extended families, reinforcing the value of local nonprofits stepping up during difficult times. Nicki Vogt, founder of Ivy’s Legacy, expressed gratitude: “It is absolutely amazing to be the selected organization; we feel very honored.”
Preparations are underway for a late fall 2025 auction, during which Felling Trailers will work alongside Ivy’s Legacy to raise awareness and highlight the foundation’s impact across Central Minnesota and beyond.
