Engineered Rigging announced a partnership with River Valley Food 4 Kids (RVF4K) to support the nonprofit’s Summer Food 4 Kids Program, which provides meals and snacks to children facing food insecurity in the Arkansas River Valley. The effort coincides with Engineered Rigging’s annual Heavy Lifting Equipment Showcase, scheduled for June 10–12 at its facility in Russellville, Arkansas.
The summer program supplies at least two meals and two snacks daily for each child and is expected to serve up to 1,200 children weekly across Russellville, Atkins, Dardanelle, Danville, Dover, Hector and Johnson County. According to RVF4K, one in four children in the region lacks reliable access to food, an issue that becomes more urgent during the summer months when school meals are unavailable.
To support the initiative, community members are invited to make monetary donations at Engineered Rigging’s location at 300 Industrial Boulevard between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. during the three-day event. Online donations can also be made at givebutter.com/RVF4KSummer25. The cost to sponsor a child is $7.50 per week or $75 for the full 10-week program.
All funds raised will be presented to RVF4K on June 12 at Engineered Rigging’s facility. The public is invited to attend the presentation and view live demonstrations of hydraulic heavy lifting and specialized transport technologies between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. More details and event registration are available at engineeredrigginggroup.com/equipment-showcase.
“Summer should be a time for fun, not hunger,” said Leslie Walton, executive director of RVF4K. “Thanks to Engineered Rigging’s generous partnership, we can reach even more kids this summer and ensure no child goes without the food they need to thrive. This kind of community support is what makes our mission possible.”
Christopher Cox, P.E., president of Engineered Rigging, added: “River Valley Food 4 Kids is fulfilling a tremendous need in our community. We welcome this opportunity to partner with them to give hunger a summer break.”
