Empire Crane Names New Salesman for Western New York

August 6, 2021 – Empire Crane Co., North Syracuse, New York, has named Mike Baron as its sales representative serving western New York state.

“I am most looking forward to meeting new people in the industry, helping customers find cranes that best suit their business needs, and joining a fast-paced company where every day is different,” Baron said.

Baron is originally from Liverpool, New York, and has lived in western New York his entire life.

A recent graduate of Brockport State University (SUNY Brockport), Baron majored in business and finance with a concentration in management. Before entering college, Baron worked in Empire Crane’s shop two years, helping mechanics with repairs, maintaining the yard, and helping prep cranes before they went to job sites.

CEO Luke Lonergan said, “Mike is a very motivated young man. He’s a quick learner and we’re really excited to get him in the field meeting our customers.”
