June 28, 2023 - DICA has launched composite cribbing timbers to support static loads inside or outdoors.
Made from post-industrial recycled materials, DICA’s cribbing timbers will not splinter, break, or warp, so they provide predictable performance time after time.
Often, workers crib with whatever lumber they can find on or around job sites.
Random pieces of lumber are often of different sizes and thicknesses, and their strength is not known.
DICA’s cribbing timbers perform consistently, have a known strength, and are an environmentally friendly option for letting materials and equipment sit safely and securely.
“When you’re in the field, you need tools that are reliable and don’t create unnecessary chaos,” said Kris Koberg, CEO of DICA. “Workers should not be scrounging around job sites to find scrap that may or may not even support what they need. DICA’s cribbing timbers can do the job and be stored easily for the next site.”
DICA’s cribbing timbers are more resilient and durable than wood, even in extreme environments. They come in standard sizes, with cross sections of 4”x4”, 4”x6”, and 6”x6”, and can be used in any combination to create customized structures.
