The Caldwell Group Inc. released a newly revamped catalog titled The Big Book, offering an updated and expanded overview of its complete product lines. The 444-page catalog includes the full Caldwell, Renfroe and RUD offerings and is now available in both print and digital formats.
This marks the first comprehensive update since 2016, replacing the company’s previous green-colored version. According to Caldwell, the new edition was created to serve not just as a product directory but as a detailed reference guide for the lifting industry.
“Distributors have said how much they like having all of the Caldwell lines in one book,” said Doug Stitt, president and CEO. “It’s more than a catalog — it’s a true lifting industry reference.”
Included in the catalog are Caldwell’s Posi-Turner load rotators, Dura-Lite composite lifting and spreader beams and Rig-Release remote releasing hooks. RUD’s portfolio features lifting points and slings for complex applications, including ring lugs, eyebolts and flanges. Renfroe’s clamp product line, which includes around 200 types with lifting capacities ranging from 0.5 to 100 tons, is also detailed. These products support horizontal and vertical lifting forces and include non-marring versions used across multiple industries.
The catalog also introduces several new or updated products, such as the adjustable fork beam, revamped Model 86 Double-Leg Coil Lifter, material baskets, expanded telescopic pivoting fork lift boom sizes, and new Dura-Mod sizes.
“The initial response from our own team has been phenomenal,” said Lisa Sympson, marketing manager. “I arrived at Caldwell in 2022 and, ‘When will we have a new master catalog?’ was the single most popular question I was asked. There were a few things we had to get in place before tackling such an enormous project, but I’m so thrilled to say that it’s done — and is gloriously ready for everyone.”
The Big Book also references SmartSpec, Caldwell’s digital configuration tool for non-standard below-the-hook equipment. The tool allows distributors to customize solutions based on specific project requirements.
“We’re meeting our customers where they are,” added Stitt. “Some prefer our smaller, targeted catalogs, while others — sales reps, purchasing agents and even some end users — prefer everything in one big book. Of course, others want everything online. We’re happy to make sure everyone gets what they need.”
Caldwell channel partners have already started receiving copies of the Big Book. Additional copies can be requested directly through the company.
