Brass Knuckle SmartFlex BK360 Gloves Boost Cold-Weather Safety
Brass Knuckle SmartFlex BK360 gloves provide warmth, dexterity and grip for crane operators in cold-weather jobsite conditions.
Brass Knuckle has introduced the SmartFlex BK360 cold-weather work glove, designed to keep hands warm, dry and productive in extreme conditions. This multi-layer glove provides thermal protection while maintaining flexibility and dexterity, essential for crane operators handling complex lifts in cold weather.
“Cold exposure isn’t just uncomfortable — it’s dangerous,” noted Brass Knuckle. According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), workers exposed to extreme cold risk cold stress, which can lower core body temperature and lead to tissue damage or even death.
The SmartFlex BK360 features a 13-gauge nylon shell over a soft seven-gauge napped acrylic liner, with a foam latex coating on the palm and fingers for insulation and grip. The latex coating remains pliable in low temperatures, helping operators maintain tactile control. Its seamless knit wrist seals out cold air and debris, making it suitable for outdoor operations or refrigerated environments.
The gloves are available through Brass Knuckle’s distributor program, which includes sample options to compare performance and quality.
