Barnhart Adds Branch Office in Columbus, Ohio
Nov. 23, 2022 - Barnhart Crane and Rigging now has a branch office in Columbus, Ohio.
Opened in September, the new location joins Barnhart’s branch in Canton as the company’s second location in Ohio.
The Columbus branch offers engineered heavy lifting and hauling, machinery moving, and indoor and outdoor storage.
“The addition of the Columbus branch enhances Barnhart’s presence in the Midwest and provides more options for current and new customers in central Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and central Indiana,” said Jim Chapman, Barnhart regional director.
The branch also serves Cincinnati, Dayton, northern Kentucky, and West Virginia.
The Columbus facility occupies a 45,000-sq.-ft. former factory that’s next to Rickenbacker International Airport and accessible to the I-270 loop.
The facility has three overhead cranes, a dock ramp, and two drive-in doors.
It also has plenty of room for indoor storage along with four undeveloped acres for future expansion.
The Columbus team focuses on providing service to the tech industry, new construction, infrastructure improvements, power transmission and generation, and manufacturing.
Barnhart is recruiting talented operators, ironworkers, and office personnel for the Columbus team.
“We are ready to meet the growing need for a highly skilled lifting, rigging, heavy-haul, specialized haul, warehousing, and engineered solutions provider, said Branch Manager Kyle Strahler.
Nationwide, Barnhart has more than 50 locations.
