Atlas Crane Service LLC named Jack Weisz as its new vice president of sales, effective May 12, 2025. The national crane, rigging and heavy haul provider says the move supports its continued growth in both renewable energy and traditional crane sectors.
Weisz joins Atlas after more than a decade with GE Vernova, where he most recently served as managing director for new unit sales in the Onshore Wind North American West Region. Since joining GE Vernova in 2013, he held several leadership roles in the United States, Mexico, Chile and Argentina, spanning repowering, long-term service agreements and new unit sales.
Founded in 2009, Atlas Crane has expanded its fleet and geographic footprint despite recent economic uncertainty. In his new role, Weisz will lead Atlas’ national project management team and oversee engineering and estimating functions.
Charles Kent, CEO of Atlas Crane, expressed confidence in the appointment. “I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Jack over the last two years, and I am confident he will help Atlas achieve continued success while quickly assimilating with our collaborative family culture,” Kent said.
Weisz shared similar enthusiasm about the new role. “I am looking forward to improving upon what is already industry-leading performance,” he said.
Weisz holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
